But something shifted recently. I came across a TikTok showing lab beagles used for testing, and it broke me. As someone who has always had a soft spot for animals (I only adopt, I give to animal shelters, and CRY a lot when it comes to animals), I couldn’t ignore it anymore.
I realised I wanted my business to reflect my values: compassion, kindness, and conscious beauty. I’m not vegan, but this is one way I can contribute to a kinder world. So here I am, fully embracing cruelty-free artistry.

I’m transitioning my kit to include only cruelty-free certified brands, those recognised by trusted authorities like PETA or Leaping Bunny. That means brands with real cruelty-free certification, not just claims on their website. If I can’t verify it, I won’t restock it.
Do I still have some products that aren’t certified? Yes. I do. But I’m using them up mindfully rather than throwing them away and adding to more waste. I care about reducing harm in every form: animal cruelty, overconsumption, and landfill waste. I shop consciously and use everything to the last drop before I move on.
